This is a nice example of the very popular Westwood T series tractor. The machine has had a couple of private owner. We have done a bit of work on it in the past and it appears to have been well looked after and always dry stored.

Westwood & Countax are probable the best known UK makers of ride on tractor mowers... They are famous for their excellent rear mounted powered sweeper collection system.....This system is much better suited to the UK weather than machines of American origin.... It makes an excellent job of collecting damp grass (and leaves in the autumn) and the back roller gives lawns a perfect stripe every time you mow....

This 18hp V-Twin tractor is ideal for working in large sized gardens of up to 4 acres....The bigger Twin cylinder engine as well as being smoother is also more economical than a smaller single cylinder Briggs.

Large powered sweeper type rear grass collector, (its detachable) with a built in roller for stripes on your lawn.... These sweepers are very good in the autumn, leaves will not be a problem....Even when the grass is damp and you can tip it out from the seat.

12 Volt electrics, with key start, Headlights and safety system on cutters & foot pedal.

The tractors paint work has been touched up in places. these machines have a reputation of fading, as you can see this has been the case on the mud guards and on some parts of the sweeper. Also the deck has been taken off, all the loose paint removed and then repainted with several new coats. The seat cover has a couple of cracks/splits in it but not that bad, don't even think they show up in the photos!

I have used this machine a number of times and it all works very well, The steering is well adjusted and the controls are all precise and tight. Overall this machine is in good used condition.

On the rear of the tractor there is a strong steel hitch for towing trailers etc.

I have a copy of an owner’s manual that is very useful and will come with the machine.
